How do I create a budget?
Tap the "+" button on the home screen, select a budget type (Personal, Business, or Team), give it a name, and set your starting balance. You can customize categories and invite collaborators right away.
How does offline sync work?
Budget Collab works fully offline. All your transactions, edits, and changes are stored locally on your device. When you reconnect to the internet, everything syncs automatically to our cloud servers — no manual action needed.
Can I invite others to my budget?
Yes. Open the budget you want to share, go to Settings, and tap "Invite Collaborator." Enter their email and assign a role (Viewer, Editor, or Admin). They'll receive an invitation to join.
How do I run payroll for my business?
Create a Business budget, add employees under the Payroll section with their salaries, then tap "Run Payroll" to process payments. The amount is deducted from your business budget and recorded in each employee's payment history.
How do I set a savings goal?
Navigate to the Savings section, tap "Create Goal," set a target amount and deadline. You can transfer funds from any budget directly into the goal and track progress with visual milestones.
How do I schedule a recurring payment?
Go to the Scheduled Payments section, tap "Add Schedule," choose the amount, frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.), and start date. You'll receive push notifications before each due date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Google Play account. Go to your device settings, find your active subscriptions, and select Budget Collab to cancel. Your data remains accessible until the end of the billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm your choice. You can also email privacy@budgetcollab.app from your registered email to request deletion. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted locally on your device and in transit to our servers. We use industry-standard security practices and never share your personal information with third parties.
Which currencies are supported?
Budget Collab supports over 150 world currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, and many more. You can set a different base currency for each budget.
